with pain medications and head trauma. i know with me, when i was in seattle i broke my ankle and i had five screws put in, a metal plate placed in there they put me on oxycontin and oxycodone. i just wasn't myself. my wife said, you know, i wasn't myself. that i was disoriented. some of the same things, mood swings. even like hallucinating and saying things that definitely wasn't me. she would, we had a brand new son at the time. she would take care of him and keep him away from me. they would leave for hours at a time and come back and i wouldn't even know they left. i wouldn't even know what was going on. i don't even remember. gerri: players are acting in ways that i think nobody who knows them, you know, everybody would be surprised by. belcher, a friend claimed belcher was abusing alcohol and prescription meds at the time this happened. here's a guy who graduated a degree in child development and family relations from the university of maine. you heard the quote from his coach saying he was a great guy. we were all proud of him. what is the nfl, is the nfl doing something wrong here? a

if there is a change. >> nfc west rival seattle went to overtime against chicago. russell wilson finds rice before taking a shot at the goal line. it is ruled a touchdown. the seahawks win it 23-17. they lead the nfc wild card race. for the raiders it was a november to forget as they lost all four of the games. three by blowout. oakland was hoping playing a browns team that lost 12 straight on the road and would turn things around. things are tough for the raider faithful right now. the game was blacked out locally. it was career high 364 yards and he finds gordon for a 44-yard touchdown. trailing 13-3 late in the third and oakland finally gets into the end zone. he makes a fantastic grab and it is a 64-yard strike. the lead was down to 3. they were going for a tieing field goal. he is picked off at the 6. the browns then march 90 tour yards and 14 plays trent richardson. 20-17 and coach dennis alan says palmer's interception killed their momentum. >> we can't turn the ball over right there. we have all of the momentum. we are moving the ball. we can't -- we can't have that self-inflicted wound ri

's wrapping up. that's good news, seattle, portland dealing with showers, but northern california drying out little bit. as we head eastbound, two more things. the northeast areas of showers especially across new england and headed to the plains, very warm temperatures in the plains, 80 over in dallas and for tomorrow, that's going to be the story again, so we're going to be looking at basically that continuing warmth across places in the plains, 81 will be the high tomorrow in dallas. >> harris: maria molina, thank you very much. and right now, police are trying to unravel a bizarre scene happening outside a home. the bodies of four people found facedown in the yard. we do know the house is on a street lined with other homes, schools, places of worship, but neighbors say is a safe place. we'll bring you what we're learning. and earlier, a hearing for the man accused in what is believed to be the largest intelligence leak in u.s. history. remember private bradley manning and all of those government secrets that ended up on the internet? now what his defense team wants you to know. stay close

. fortunately we have relatively quiet weather through parts of california and portions of seattle. showers across the portions of the pacific northwest. as we head into tomorrow and wednesday we have a new storm system that will be arriving producing a lot of heavy rain, three to six inches. the ground is saturated from the last series of storm systems. this could pose big issues across the areas already hit very hard with all this rain. look at the future radar as we head into tuesday and wednesday more rain. basically the northern parts of the rockies we have snowfall. we'll see snowfall across portions of the west coast but even into the northern rockies. dealing with more moisture across portions of west coast even though we dealt with a number of storm systems. jon, very quickly another big story how incredibly warm it has been across the center of the country. 70 degrees for high temperatures in kansas city and 80 in the city of dallas. jon: wow. >> possibly record-setting temperatures. jon: december surprise. maria molina thank you. >> thanks. jenna: you might expect this next story

in this five-day period. raining right now in seattle to portland. not raining right now in sacramento and san francisco. but that will likely change as we get through tomorrow, at least tonight into tomorrow. yesterday, punch was pretty strong and you saw the damage from that. our next system about to come in. it will start in the pacific northwest tonight and tomorrow morning and eventually drift down to the south. shouldn't be as strong as far as wind and rain like what we saw the past three. also big issue with fog this morning across the great lakes, down across the southeast. very, very warm from across the eastern sector of the u.s., and with that comes a little bit of fog. >> that's so unusual for california, isn't it? a lot of times reporting there. in that area like that to that degree. thank you for the update. >>> congress heads back to work this morning as the clock is ticking down toward the impending fiscal cliff. talks, though, seem to be at a stalemate. yesterday with just 29 days until tax hikes and deep spending cuts kick in. both republicans and the democrats were running t

time. rains in the same spots it's been raining for days, like ten days. raining in parts of seattle down to portland. this is light rain at best. it gets worse than this. and it's going to be one mess for just the next day after day after day as we get one storm after another. here's the story now for today. this morning, it was dry. tonight, still dry. tomorrow morning, done. raining by 9:00 in the morning. northern california, rains all day and into wednesday. dries out on friday. let me zoom it out for you. we have a storm for tuesday. we have a storm for thursday. and another one back here for next saturday. that's four storms in ten days in a place that's already flooding. wolf? >> so what i hear you saying is that folks in northern california's wine country, they are by no means out of the woods? >> well, this would be a whole lot worse. had this backed up -- let's say this was august or september and this storm system came through, 2012 would have been wrecked. there would no wine at all. the grapes would have been popping, way too much rain late in the season makes wine thin
